The Pacific Digital Assets Forum (PDAF), founded by entrepreneur Dadvan Yousuf, is an independent initiative dedicated to advancing research, education, and international dialogue on digital assets and digital finance throughout the Pacific region.
Promoting Knowledge and International Dialogue
The Pacific Digital Assets Forum (PDAF) has been established to encourage informed discussion on digital assets and digital finance across the Pacific. As an independent initiative, the Forum supports research, education, and international cooperation while promoting fact-based dialogue on developments shaping the digital asset ecosystem.
By bringing together policymakers, researchers, industry participants, and other stakeholders, the Forum aims to contribute to a better understanding of digital finance and its evolving regulatory landscape.
Long-Term Projects Supporting the Pacific Region
The Forum’s long-term strategy includes two flagship initiatives: the Pacific Digital Assets Report and the Pacific Digital Assets Conference.
The Pacific Digital Assets Report will be published annually and examine regulatory developments, market trends, and innovation across the digital asset sector in Pacific Island jurisdictions. As part of the publication, the Forum will also introduce the Pacific Digital Assets Regulatory Index, providing a comparative overview of regulatory developments throughout the region.
The Pacific Digital Assets Conference is intended to serve as an annual platform for exchanging ideas, sharing research, and encouraging internationaldialogue on
digital assets and digital finance.
Supporting Responsible Innovation
“Effective regulation is not a barrier to innovation. It creates the trust that innovation needs to grow. Through the Pacific Digital Assets Forum, we aim to establish a platform that supports informed discussions, independent research, and long-term international cooperation across the Pacific,” said Dadvan Yousuf, Founding Chair of the Pacific Digital Assets Forum.
Building a Platform for the Future
The Pacific Digital Assets Forum seeks to strengthen knowledge sharing and encourage evidence based discussion on digital assets through research publications, educational initiatives, and international engagement.
